Cooler Depot's policy is to respect and protect the privacy of our users. Cooler Depot will never willfully disclose individually identifiable information about its customers to any third party without first receiving that customer's permission. This policy statement tells you how we collect information from you and how we use it.
There are cases—like when you place an order—that Cooler Depot may ask you for personal information, such as your name or address. We only do this when you are placing an order; we require quite a bit of information to make sure that we can deliver to you without any problems. We may ask, and hope you supply us with, at least one telephone number.
Cooler Depot needs to collect this information for ensuring your satisfaction in browsing our web site, tracking or verifying compliance with Cooler Depot policies as well as federal, state and local laws and/or for editorial and feedback solicitation purposes. When we intend to use your personal information, we tell you up front. Any information collected here is strictly for communications between our parties. This may mean a telephone call or email.
Cookies and similar technologies
On your first visit we only set strictly necessary cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies are not used until you explicitly accept them in our cookie banner or in "Cookie Settings". Your choice is stored (together with its date, the categories you chose and the version of this policy) for 12 months, and you can change or withdraw it at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page.

We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you grant consent, every Google consent signal (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) is set to "denied" and the Google scripts are not loaded at all. If you reject or withdraw consent, we also delete the analytics and advertising cookies that were previously set from our domain.
Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. When your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the "sharing" of personal information: analytics and advertising stay off unless you explicitly enable them.
Withdrawing consent. Open Cookie Settings at any time to change your choice. See also Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Third parties we work with
The following third parties may process personal information on our behalf or receive it through cookies, as described above:
- Google LLC — Google Analytics (analytics, consent required) and Google Ads (advertising conversion measurement, consent required).
- 51.LA — web analytics (analytics, consent required).
- Bazaarvoice, Inc. — product review display on product pages (functional).
- Payment processors (e.g. Authorize.Net, PayPal) — used only to process your payment when you place an order.
- Shipping carriers — receive your delivery address to fulfill your order.
We do not load analytics or advertising services from any provider other than those listed here.
Links to other sites
Users should be aware that when you are on Cooler Depot's web site, you could be directed to other sites that are beyond our control. There are links to other sites from Cooler Depot pages that take you outside our service. For example, if you "click" on a link in an article item, the "click" takes you off the Cooler Depot web site. This includes links from partners that may use Cooler Depot logos as part of a co-branding agreement. These other sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data, or solicit personal information.
We like to link to other sites to provide you with other information, such as industry, security, and search information that you may find useful. While Cooler Depot strives to protect its user's personal information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online and you do so at your own risk.
Cooler Depot's policy does not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, and therefore beyond Cooler Depot's control, and is not to be applied in any manner contrary to applicable law or governmental regulation.
